  • Senior Software Developer

    Zmags is looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our engineering team in Copenhagen

    At Zmags we build SaaS based, rich media content marketing platforms for marketing professionals that enable them to easily create and publish rich, commerce enabled web experiences for their websites. We launched our new product, Creator, in April and it is highly innovative in the content and ecommerce industry.

    We target a global market with two online platforms to help our customers create successful online campaigns, engaging product experiences, landing pages and online catalogues. Over 1,500 of today’s leading companies, including Nike, Neiman Marcus, Kate Spade, Whole Foods, Audi and more, trust Zmags to help them instantly connect with their customers in the moments that matter - our customers depend on our services to serve several million web experiences every month.

    We are looking for a talented Senior Software Developer with the ability and desire to:
    • Design and develop modern web based frontend applications and backend services.
    • Continuously improve existing platforms and design new future proof and scalable solutions.
    • Optimize web applications for high throughput and high availability.
    • Become a leader amongst the team on designing new solutions and sharing knowledge.
    • Work closely with the product management team in prototyping and designing new features and solutions
    • Identify and investigate innovative technologies and/or processes that potentially provide value
    • Set a high standard for quality software development.

    We expect that you have:
    • A minimum of four years professional experience in the software industry.
    • A master degree in computer science or similar.
    • Strong background as a full stack developer with the ability to work on any part of a modern online web application.
    • Strong programming experience in JavaScript and Java or similar.
    • Experience with continuous integration environments and tools.
    • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

    If you are the perfect candidate you also have:
    • Experience with Backbone.js or similar framework.
    • Experience with high performance JavaScript based rendering.
    • Experience with frontend code and performance testing.
    • Experience in building modern HTTP based web APIs.
    • Experience with building systems using Amazon AWS.
    • Experience with Content Management and eCommerce platforms - for example: Adobe, SiteCore, Drupal, Demandware, Oracle ATG, etc
    • Experience with MongoDB and/or MySQL.
    • Familiarity with Git version control system or similar.
    • Familiarity with Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence, Stash etc.).

  • Business Development Manager

    The Zmags Business Development Manager is passionate about selling. They invest their time and effort each day building and maintaining a strong pipeline of prospective customers, and know how to manage their business. The Business Development Manager creates, identifies, manages and then closes sales for Zmags. The successful candidate will be an ambitious self-starter who can create a large pipeline of business within a short period of time – and ensure the pipeline remains healthy over a sustained period.

    Responsibilities:
    - Achieve/exceed sales goals through the direct sale of Zmags existing and new products and services to prospective customers within their specific geographic territory.
    - Identify and qualify high-value sales opportunities through cold-call prospecting, networking, trade shows, and lead follow up.
    - Conduct thorough discovery, qualify need and strategically prove the value of Zmags solutions to address those needs.
    - Own the sales cycle – from lead generation to closure.
    - Actively own and maintain a sales pipeline in accordance with Zmags business process and philosophies.
    - Must have unquestionably high ethics, integrity, and humility and have a desire to be part of a stable, growing organization.
    - Work with marketing and sales management to document and report back on customer success using the Zmags platform.
    - Comfortable talking to all levels of an organization, including C-level executives.
    - Demonstrated ability to work well in a fast paced, results oriented, team environment.

    Qualified candidates for this position have:
    - A proven hunter and closer with outstanding customer referrals and exceptional skills in prospecting, qualifying, developing and closing business
    - 3 – 5 years of Sales experience, Software As A Service experience a huge plus and preferred
    - Experience selling into marketing and ecommerce teams at all levels of seniority: users/buyers/senior leadership
    - Confident presenter with experience running both face to face meetings and web conferences
    - Exceptionally strong work ethic, self-motivated, metric-oriented, curious and driven with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
    - Strong organizational and follow-up skills in order to run multiple opportunities in a tight sales cycle (60-90 days).
    - Must have a positive attitude, be confident, and desire to be the best.
    - Experience with MS Office products and Salesforce.com a definite plus.
    - BA/BS or equivalent

    The Zmags Business Development Representative is passionate about selling. They invest their time and effort each day building and maintaining a strong pipeline of prospective customers. The Business Development Representative creates and identifies sales opportunities for Zmags. In the role, you will be responsible for generating new business through focused and rigorous outbound calling, screening of inbound leads, email prospecting and ultimately creating new business opportunities and increasing the company’s pipeline. This position offers extensive sales training and opportunity for growth within our sales organization.

    Responsibilities:
    - Generate new business through prospecting efforts; 80-100+ outbound calls/emails per day
    - Obtain additional prospect company information via websites and other methods
    - Conduct thorough discovery, qualify need and establish next steps
    - Keep up to date on Zmags SaaS product offerings
    - Entering / maintaining accurate information in Salesforce CRM
    - Locate and build out accounts that are in Zmags target market through use of various sources
    - Must have unquestionably high ethics, integrity, and humility and have a desire to be part of a stable, growing organization.
    - Demonstrated ability to work well in a fast paced, results oriented, team environment.

    Qualified candidates for this position have:
    - 1 to 3 years of sales/business development experience, Software As A Service experience a huge plus and preferred
    - Experience selling into marketing and ecommerce teams a plus
    - Exceptionally strong work ethic, self-motivated, metric-oriented, curious and driven with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
    - Strong organizational and follow-up skills in order to run multiple opportunities in the sales cycle (8-12 weeks)
    - Must have a positive attitude, be confident, and desire to be the best
    - Experience with MS Office products and Salesforce.com a definite plus
    - BA/BS degree strongly preferred

    Compensation: Base plus commission. Full benefits are included.
